Job Overview
The Planner is responsible for coordinating replenishment activities for Distribution Centers (DCs) and retail stores to achieve targeted product availability with a strong customer focus. This role ensures inventory levels remain healthy, directly impacting product availability, sales volumes, profitability, and cash flow management within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule replenishment orders for DCs and stores aimed at meeting sales objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously monitor inventory levels, demand patterns, and supply chain conditions to maintain balanced stock distribution and reduce instances of excessive stock or shortages.
- Collaborate with suppliers, procurement teams, and logistics personnel to guarantee timely product deliveries aligned with replenishment schedules.
- Adjust forecasting inputs and planning parameters to improve order precision and adapt to market fluctuations efficiently.
- Assess inventory performance in DCs and stores, identifying improvement opportunities to sustain optimal stock levels.
- Work closely with commercial and operational teams to facilitate the execution of promotions, seasonal campaigns, and the launch of new products.
- Create and maintain detailed reports on planning and replenishment activities to provide transparent inventory insights supporting data-driven decisions.
- Drive process improvement initiatives within planning to increase accuracy, operational efficiency, and output quality.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and planning system protocols to maintain consistency and governance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering disciplines.
- Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Tableau for data analysis and visualization.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Excellent time management skills enabling multitasking and meeting deadlines.
- Experience in master scheduling, demand forecasting, procurement, and inventory planning.
- Robust analytical and mathematical skills essential for data interpretation and decision making.
- Meticulous with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English languages is required.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
