During peak periods, the DC operates at full capacity, supporting our stores nationwide.

Role Overview

As a member of the Pick by Store team, you will be essential to ensuring our stores receive their stock on time and in good order. This position involves picking products accurately for store replenishments using RF scanning technology, assembling and securing pallets for transport, and operating electric pallet jacks (MHE). You will work with others to maintain efficient operations while meeting daily production targets in a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Select stock carefully to fulfill store orders using RF scanners.
• Construct and wrap pallets securely for delivery.
• Implement safe operation of electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain high efficiency to meet daily deadlines and targets.
• Ensure the workspace is kept organized, clean, and safe at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth distribution centre operations.

Requirements

• A current OSH Forklift Certificate or F Endorsement for operating material handling equipment is mandatory.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre setting is advantageous.
• Ability to work swiftly without compromising accuracy.
• Physical capability to lift, bend, and move stock throughout your shift.
• Experience safely maneuvering pallet jacks in warehouse environments.
• A positive, proactive attitude with strong communication skills.
• Effective team player who can also perform independently.
• Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand is required.

Additional Information

This role is fixed term until the end of January 2027, supporting peak season operations. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm, excluding public holidays. Due to high operational demands, extended leave requests during peak periods, especially around Christmas and New Year, are unlikely to be approved.

Pay: $30.28 per hour.
