Phlebotomist

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Phlebotomists to join our Field Operations team within Collection Operations, operating from multiple locations in Delhi-NCR. The primary focus will be on home sample collection and rapid testing with strict adherence to safety and procedural protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture or finger-stick methods and perform rapid testing where applicable.
• Ensure specimen integrity by following aseptic techniques and standardized operating procedures.
• Verify patient identities by cross-checking official documents before collection.
• Label and prepare samples for transport accurately, matching specimens with the corresponding patient information.
• Maintain comprehensive records of patient details, blood volume collected, and diagnostic results.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory tools and testing equipment regularly for precise operations.
• Adhere to biomedical waste management protocols and ensure proper packaging and tagging of specimens as per medical requisitions.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Minimum 1 year and up to 10 years relevant experience in phlebotomy and sample collection practices.
• Educational qualification of DMLT, BMLT, or MLT is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with basic computer proficiency.
• Proficient in testing procedures and use of laboratory equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care by answering queries and supporting patient-facility relationships.
• Must have a two-wheeler vehicle with a valid driving license to facilitate travel for home sample collections.
• Flexible to work rotational shifts from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Additional Information

• CTC up to ₹360,000 per annum plus an additional ₹3.5 per kilometer traveled.
