  • Deliver payroll training and software walkthroughs at client locations, including instruction on relevant features and functions.
  • Build expertise in client data and payroll complexities such as turnover, seasonal or fluctuating headcount, time and attendance, payroll bridge creation, import/export needs, prevailing wage rules, job costing, certified payroll, and standard as well as customized reporting.

  • A self-motivated approach with the drive to support client and business success.
  • Working knowledge of wage and hour regulations and the tax treatment of wages.
  • Helpful exposure to workers’ compensation claims administration.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of an organization.
  • Professional presentation, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work well in a team with limited supervision.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with CRM tools, Citrix, and HRP software is an advantage.
  • An associate’s degree is preferred, and an advanced degree is a plus.
  • CPP or FPC certification is strongly preferred.
  • About 10% local travel within 50 miles of the office is expected for client visits and onsite training.
