Payroll Officer

Role Overview

This part-time Payroll Officer position at Fonction Publique Mon Amour is located in Dubai and offers a hybrid work arrangement combining on-site presence with some remote work flexibility. The key responsibility of this role is to manage payroll operations, including preparation, processing, and review, ensuring accurate salary computations, deductions, and benefits compliance with internal policies and UAE labor regulations.

Key Duties

• Maintain accurate payroll records and verify employee timesheets.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and Finance departments to manage employee data and payroll revisions.
• Handle and resolve payroll-related queries promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax rules and support finance audits.
• Generate regular payroll reports and suggest improvements to optimize payroll processes.
• Protect confidentiality and ensure data integrity throughout all payroll tasks.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in payroll administration, payroll services, and payroll tax matters to ensure accurate and lawful payroll processing.
• Strong financial aptitude to analyze compensation information, reconcile payroll accounts, and assist with reporting.
• Effective communication capabilities to clarify policies and liaise with employees, HR, and Finance teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, alongside experience with payroll software and advanced Excel skills or comparable tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of UAE labor laws and payroll regulations; prior experience in payroll or finance roles is advantageous.
• Educational credentials such as a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
