About the Role

Green by Nature, a leading facilities management company operating throughout New Zealand and Australia, delivers comprehensive park maintenance and sports turf services. We are seeking a dedicated full-time Outdoor Cleaner Operator to join our Hastings team, supporting the upkeep of the Hastings District Council's public facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include scheduled cleaning and maintenance of various public amenities such as restrooms, bus shelters, and barbecue areas. Additionally, you will assist the broader team in general park rubbish collection and upkeep of outdoor assets. The work schedule primarily covers early morning shifts from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, based at our Hastings depot.

Required Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in maintenance or cleaning roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A valid full driver's licence with the ability to operate manual vehicles is essential.
• Demonstrated self-motivation and capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Commitment to performing tasks to a high standard, contributing positively to community cleanliness.
