About the Role
Join a dynamic optical retail team as a full-time Optical Dispenser, where your skills will directly impact customers' lives by guiding them through their optical journey. This role offers an opportunity to be hands-on and customer-centric within a welcoming and supportive store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret and assess optical prescriptions to ensure customers receive exactly what they require.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate lenses and frames tailored to their prescription, taking precise measurements for optimal fitting.
- Conduct thorough checks and make precise adjustments to spectacles before customers collect them, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, share product knowledge including promotions, and confidently advise on contact lens specifications and suitability.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in optical dispensing, eager to embrace a more engaging, customer-facing position.
- Committed to ongoing learning and development with access to comprehensive training programs ranging from foundational to advanced dispensing techniques. While a Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing is preferred, it is not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and provide a supportive shopping experience.
- A collaborative team player who brings enthusiasm and professionalism to the workplace every day.
