Operations Manager - India Ultra Fast Fresh Network

Role Overview

Amazon Worldwide Operations forms the backbone of Amazon's fulfillment and customer service, driving consistent, high-quality customer experiences globally. We invite innovative, adaptable, and forward-looking professionals to join our India Operations team as City Managers for the Ultra Fast Fresh network.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop direct reports to achieve operational excellence within a metrics-focused environment.
• Drive process improvement projects both at individual sites and across the network.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to enhance core performance indicators such as quality, speed, and cost efficiency.
• Develop staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, and lead Lean/Six Sigma improvements to ensure fulfillment centers exceed business objectives.
• Set clear expectations for FC site leaders, track their performance rigorously, and hold them accountable.
• Be prepared to work flexible hours including weekends and overnight shifts, and travel across the city to oversee site launches and ongoing operations.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing employees and driving team performance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; alternatively, 2 or more years of Amazon full-time employee experience.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in performance metrics, process improvements, or Lean methodologies.
