Job description
Role Overview
NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project titled “Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf”. As part of this initiative, they are forming a reserve of qualified Non-Key Experts, including both Senior and Junior levels, who will be available for short-term, on-demand assignments throughout the 36-month project duration.
The Junior Non-Key Expert role of Online Content Manager focuses on offering strategic, technical, and logistical communication assistance to DG MENA. The goal is to enhance the visibility and influence of the European Union’s policies, initiatives, and partnerships across the Middle East, North Africa, and Gulf regions by supporting day-to-day communication operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and refresh website and online platform content through Content Management Systems.
- Create, revise, and publish web content aligning with communication goals and editorial standards.
- Guarantee that all content is precise, current, accessible, and user-friendly.
- Work collaboratively with communication professionals, graphic designers, and technical teams to publish multimedia content.
- Support digital communication initiatives via various online channels.
- Track website content effectiveness and assist in basic website analytics and performance reporting.
- Maintain consistency, quality, and adherence to EU branding and communication guidelines.
- Help with content scheduling, quality control, and routine upkeep of the website.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in communication, journalism, or web content management.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS).
Professional Experience
- A minimum of two years’ general experience in online communication activities.
- At least one year of focused experience managing websites or online content.
