Role Overview
This full-time position, located in Bengaluru South, involves a hybrid working model combining on-site presence with opportunities for remote work. The role centers on providing career counseling and guidance to prospective as well as current LIC advisors and employees via the official career portal. Responsibilities include addressing career-related queries, assisting users in understanding career trajectories and advancement options within LIC, and ensuring the portal contains accurate, up-to-date information about career paths, training programs, and recruitment processes.
The role requires coordination with internal teams to facilitate smooth experiences for candidates and employees, analyzing user feedback to suggest enhancements to portal content and workflows. Communication will be conducted professionally across multiple channels including email, phone, video, and face-to-face interaction when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in career counseling and career development practices to help users identify suitable roles and growth paths.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Analytical capabilities to evaluate user data, feedback, and labor market trends for continuous improvement of portal offerings.
- Good organizational aptitude and time-management skills for handling multiple requests and maintaining service standards.
- Comfortable using digital tools including CRM or portal management systems.
- Preferred educational background includes a bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, human resources, business, or related disciplines.
- Prior experience in career services, human resources, or customer support roles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the insurance or financial services sector and familiarity with LIC’s products and career opportunities is a plus.
