Role Overview

This Mobile Maintenance Planner role is based at the iconic KCGM Superpit mine, which has a projected mine life of over ten years. The position is part of the Mobile Maintenance team and offers a family-friendly residential roster with options of either a 5:2 or 4:3 schedule, consisting of nine-hour workdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and update short-term weekly maintenance plans specifically for the Loading Maintenance and Support Equipment Department.
• Facilitate weekly work management meetings centered around short-term maintenance scheduling.
• Provide component forecasts and manage work orders submitted to parts suppliers.
• Create and maintain weekly Gantt charts for maintenance planning.
• Assess labor needs and balance resource allocation to meet long-term plan requirements.
• Monitor weekly compliance to planned maintenance schedules.
• Manage ordering and procurement of refit parts and components for scheduled servicing.
• Coordinate scheduling, raising purchase orders, and work orders efficiently.
• Maintain a rolling four-week planning schedule for light vehicles.

Qualifications and Experience

• Trade certificate and/or a degree in engineering.
• Valid unencumbered Western Australian Class C manual driver's license.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant mining maintenance experience.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office; experience in Pronto Xi or AMT software is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed best industry practices in work management tasks.
• Flexible and adaptable to new and improved asset management procedures.
• Knowledge of Mine Safety and Inspection Act and related regulations is required.
• Exposure to Pronto software considered a plus.
