Mine Surveyor - Fixed-Term Contract at Hail Creek

About the Role

Join the Technical Services team at Hail Creek as a Mine Surveyor on a 12-month contract covering maternity leave. You will report to the Senior Mine Surveyor and be responsible for providing precise and timely survey control supporting Mining and Civil operations. Your tasks include performing end-of-month volume calculations and maintaining accurate data for Statutory plans and mine designs. Additionally, you'll contribute to refining mine plans from initial concepts to execution, participate in continuous improvement projects, and assist in planning activities that advance operational effectiveness and the long-term site strategy.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will be strong communicators, highly driven, and demonstrate safe work practices. Qualifications or specialization in Mine Surveying is preferred, along with practical experience in similar roles. Registration or progress towards registration and endorsement with the Surveyors Board of Queensland is required.
