Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Member of Technical Staff specializing in Frontier AI to join our client’s team on a full-time remote basis. This position is dedicated to driving innovative research and development efforts that extend the limits of the current artificial intelligence landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and enhance next-generation AI architectures and algorithms.
- Lead research projects aimed at boosting model efficiency, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to embed AI solutions into production environments.
- Document and publish results through technical reports, whitepapers, and conference papers.
- Conduct evaluations and benchmarking of new AI models, frameworks, and hardware accelerators.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong knowledge of large-scale distributed training and techniques for model optimization.
- Experience with AI hardware including GPUs and TPUs.
- Proven ability to independently lead research initiatives and manage technical projects.
- Familiarity with reinforcement learning, generative models, or multi-modal AI systems.
- Exceptional debugging and analytical skills for complex AI systems.
- Effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
