Medical Content Editor

Overview

Doctronic is seeking a medical content editor to review pre-written health articles and website pages. The role focuses on confirming that published material is clinically sound, factually correct, and aligned with current medical guidance.

What you will do

• Assess medical articles and content pages for clinical accuracy.
• Decide whether content is ready for publication or needs revisions.
• Check that the material reflects the latest evidence-based medical standards.
• Share clear and constructive feedback with writers.
• Serve as the named medical reviewer on published content and have your credentials and bio displayed on the website.

Requirements

• An MD degree, or an equivalent qualification, from a US medical school is required.
• Strong command of written and edited English is essential.
• You should have a solid understanding of evidence-based medicine.
• The role requires the ability to work on your own with a flexible timetable.
• Excellent attention to detail is necessary.
• You must be comfortable with your name and professional credentials being shown publicly on reviewed content and on a biography page.
• A background check is part of the process.

Compensation and schedule

This is a contract role with pay set at $100 per hour. The work is fully remote and project-based, with hours you can choose yourself.
