Role Summary

We are seeking Medical Coders and Senior Medical Coders specializing in Emergency Department Professional Fee (ED Profee) to join our Ambattur or Kandanchavadi office locations in Chennai. This role requires immediate joiners committed to maintaining coding quality and productivity as per client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply medical coding principles accurately in line with client needs.
• Understand and implement project-specific instructions and updates effectively.
• Achieve daily and monthly productivity targets set by clients.
• Perform coding and auditing of patient charts according to standards.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on coding activities and performance metrics.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Exhibit thorough understanding of ICD and CPT coding systems.
• Utilize computer skills to complete coding tasks efficiently.
• Communicate proficiently and maintain transparent reporting practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum one year of professional experience in ED Profee coding or auditing.
• Any graduate degree is acceptable.
• Possession of at least one professional coding certification such as CPC, CIC, COC, or CCS is mandatory.
• Preference for candidates ready to join immediately.

Work Details

• Location: On-site work in Ambattur or Kandanchavadi, Chennai.
• Shift: Day shift.
