Media Specialist

Overview

Euro Group for Engineering Consultancy is currently recruiting a skilled Media Specialist to contribute to the Operations and Maintenance Project for Riyadh Municipality – AMANA. This position involves preparing detailed media reports and press coverage for projects carried out by the contractor and supervised by the consultant. The ideal candidate will possess a solid media background and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile in-depth media reports and press coverages specifically for the Riyadh Municipality – AMANA project.
• Establish and nurture connections with significant media outlets and stakeholders within Riyadh.
• Produce captivating content for diverse media channels such as print, digital, and social media to showcase the project's progress and significance.
• Track and evaluate media coverage concerning the company’s projects, focusing especially on the Riyadh Municipality initiative.
• Collaborate with internal teams and project stakeholders to collect information, ensuring precise and accurate reporting.
• Support the organization of press conferences, media events, and interviews when required.
• Stay informed on the latest industry trends and best practices in media relations, particularly relating to municipal projects.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
• Have at least five years of professional experience in media, journalism, or a comparable role, preferably with government entity exposure.
• Proficient in computer software relevant to media production and reporting.
• Strong writing and editing capabilities in both Arabic and English languages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to perform effectively under pressure and comply with strict deadlines.
• Understanding of Saudi Arabia’s media laws and ethical standards.
