Mechanical Engineer (m/w/d) Stationary Systems

Role Overview

You will take ownership of the complete design process for customized diesel power generation units, focusing primarily on mechanical components. This role involves creating detailed arrangements and component lists, coordinating tasks with internal and international partners, and ensuring seamless integration across mechanical and electrical interfaces within multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall design for client-specific diesel power generator units.
• Design various mechanical components and produce drawings such as layout plans and component bills of materials.
• Define, assign, and monitor work packages with internal and external partners, including international collaborators in India and China.
• Coordinate interface alignment between mechanical and electrical teams within project groups.
• Provide technical support to sales units on complex inquiries.
• Prepare documentation and testing protocols.
• Serve as the technical contact for internal stakeholders like sales, assembly, and customer service teams.

Candidate Profile

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar field.
• Several years' experience in design engineering using CAD and PLM tools such as Creo Parametric and Windchill.
• Strong command of SAP software.
• Preferably experienced in project management and customer project handling.
• Proficient computer skills and independent, goal-driven work habits.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
