Mechanical Design and Product Development Engineer

About the Role

We seek a creative Mechanical Design Engineer to innovate and enhance Rotary Drum Filters, PP tanks, Bakki Showers, filtration systems, and other tailor-made aquaculture products.

Key Responsibilities

• Create mechanical designs employing SolidWorks or Fusion 360 software.
• Develop new models of Rotary Drum Filters and refine current designs.
• Design polypropylene tanks, filter housings, and specialized equipment.
• Produce detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings, exploded views, and bill of materials.
• Collaborate with teams handling fabrication, machining, laser cutting, and external vendors.
• Diagnose manufacturing challenges and suggest improvements to product functionality.
• Construct and experimentally verify prototypes prior to production launch.
• Perform visits to fabrication workshops and client locations to address technical challenges.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Mandatory expertise in SolidWorks or Fusion 360 software.
• Strong comprehension of fabrication processes, welded structures, mechanical assemblies, and industrial machinery.
• Preferred familiarity with pumps, motors, bearings, shafts, seals, and piping configurations.
• Experience with product development cycles and prototype evaluation is an advantage.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with a proactive attitude toward innovation.
