About TradeMutt
TradeMutt is a unique mental health initiative disguised as a workwear brand, known for creating the country's most vibrant workwear to spark conversations that matter. Profits from sales are directed towards TIACS, a free and professional counselling service designed for everyday people who might not otherwise have access to support.
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Marketing Coordinator to manage our organic social media and community engagement, develop and design our email marketing campaigns, and contribute a strong design perspective to our outputs. This mid-level, hands-on role is integral to our four-person marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and schedule content for organic social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Engage actively with community members through comments and direct messages, fostering conversations and maintaining brand voice.
- Design and execute email marketing campaigns using templates in Klaviyo, including basic layout and imagery.
- Create on-brand graphic assets for social media, email newsletters, promotional banners, campaign tiles, and stories.
- Identify and collect user-generated content from customers in real-world settings.
- Manage relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors, handling communication, briefing, and follow-ups.
- Support campaign launches and promotions across social, email, and website channels, coordinating with the Creative Producer or Freelance Designer for complex design requirements.
- Capture raw content such as phone footage and event highlights to be refined by the Creative Producer.
A Typical Week
- Planning and scheduling social media posts; preparing upcoming week's email campaigns in Figma.
- Producing sets of consistent social tiles and story visuals.
- Responding to comments and messages with a warm, playful voice that is distinctly TradeMutt's.
- Coordinating larger design projects with the Creative Producer and monitoring progress.
- Spotting emerging trends early and presenting ideas to the marketing team.
Candidate Profile
- Experience across brand, agency, or in-house marketing teams, covering social, email, and design disciplines.
- Proficiency in Canva, Figma (or similar), and familiarity with email platforms such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp.
- A strong understanding of digital culture including memes, formats, audio, and what engages audiences online.
- Highly organized, creative, and adaptable to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- A creative touch demonstrated by answering in the cover letter: If you were a tradie, what trade would you be and why?
Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop and Illustrator beyond Canva.
- Basic ability to shoot and edit videos using a smartphone.
- Understanding of paid social promotions and basic performance metrics.
