Role Overview
Join Fong Lee Metal Industries Pte Ltd as a Manufacturing Engineer in Singapore, where your expertise will help optimize and elevate production processes ensuring output quality and efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify areas for enhancement in manufacturing processes and implement industry-leading best practices.
- Develop clear engineering and procedural documents to standardize production workflows.
- Design and evaluate process flows and analyze production statistics to boost operational efficiency.
- Support production teams to maintain smooth operations and meet customer expectations.
- Analyze causes of product non-conformances and recommend effective corrective measures.
- Train and guide machinists on new procedures and work instructions to uphold quality standards.
- Undertake additional tasks as required by management.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Capable of reading and interpreting Bills of Materials and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong familiarity with manufacturing best practices and continual process improvement.
- Knowledgeable about technical standards, product guidelines, and relevant codes applicable to manufacturing.
- Proficient in problem-solving and root cause analysis within production environments.
