About the Role

Vardhaman Group invites an experienced Project & Operations Head to oversee comprehensive project execution and retail operations management for all VB stores. Based in Pune with approximately 60% travel to sites, this role demands leadership across store launches, renovations, operational efficiency, cost control, SOP adherence, and fostering business development.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage new store openings, renovations, relocations, and expansions, ensuring projects meet timeline, budget, and quality criteria.
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations while identifying and mitigating risks.
Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Supervise daily retail operations ensuring strict SOP implementation and enhanced customer service standards.
Analyze operational data to isolate gaps, initiate process improvements, and boost productivity.
Lead and mentor store managers, site teams, and external partners through performance monitoring and regular reviews.
Prepare and oversee project budgets and operational expenditures, controlling costs, and analyzing profit and loss statements for corrective actions.
Drive initiatives aimed at increasing store productivity and profitability while consistently compiling reports for management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Retail Management, or related discipline.
4 to 7 years of relevant experience in project management, retail or multi-store operations, with proven skills in new store setups, renovations, vendor management, and leadership.
Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is beneficial.
Mandatory possession of a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
Strong willingness to travel extensively (around 60%) for site supervision.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.

Reduction in operational disruptions and enhancement in store performance.
Ensuring vendor compliance and quality standards.
Prompt submission of operational and project reports.

Additional Information

This is an on-site position based at the Pune head office with frequent site visits.
