About the Role
Join Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a global frontrunner in clinical diagnostics and part of Danaher Corporation, dedicated to impacting patient health through leading-edge diagnostic solutions. As a Maintenance Technician specializing in Process and Manufacturing Engineering, you will be pivotal in minimizing equipment downtime by providing swift responses and thorough root cause analyses. This role supports production by maintaining equipment reliability and solving operational issues, ensuring that hourly production targets are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to improve productivity by identifying and implementing lasting solutions to recurring equipment failures.
- Utilize data-driven methods to investigate and resolve repeated equipment problems, including expertise in electrical troubleshooting from low voltage DC through three-phase systems.
- Coordinate closely with Production Supervisors and Engineers to prioritize and address equipment downtime.
- Apply Danaher Business System (DBS) lean methodologies to enhance Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity continuously.
- Prepare accurate shift handovers, maintain detailed records, and ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Possess a technical degree or diploma coupled with 5 to 7 years of maintenance experience in a highly automated industrial setting.
- Proven familiarity with pneumatics, instrumentation, hydraulics, and vision systems.
- Knowledge of quality assurance standards including cGMP, FDA QSR, and ISO regulations.

- Comprehensive understanding of electronics and software-driven systems.
- Strong structured and logical problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects using PLC programming and electrical control technologies.
- Expertise in mechanical and pneumatic production line systems.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- Friday: 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM

This position operates onsite at the Lismeehan facility in O’Callaghan’s Mills, County Clare. You will be part of the AU Fill-pack Value Stream under the leadership of the Production Supervisor.
