Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to undertake routine and complex maintenance of CNC and welding machines, including electrical and mechanical systems, at our Saudi Arabia location. The role involves ensuring equipment operates at peak efficiency, diagnosing and repairing faults, and maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance on CNC and welding machinery to ensure continuous optimal performance.
• Diagnose and fix electrical, electronic, and mechanical malfunctions in CNC and welding equipment.
• Calibrate machinery to uphold precision and operational accuracy.
• Replace defective or worn parts such as motors, drives, sensors, and control units.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues while prioritizing safety.
• Inspect, repair, and upkeep electrical systems including wiring, switches, and control panels.
• Identify and rectify electrical faults improving the machines’ performance and adherence to safety requirements.
• Upgrade or retrofit electrical components to enhance functionality and safety compliance.
• Follow all safety regulations and perform safety audits on equipment to prevent hazards.
• Document maintenance activities meticulously and report significant equipment conditions to management.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• High school education or an equivalent qualification; technical or vocational certification in electrical disciplines preferred.
• At least 10 years of demonstrated experience maintaining CNC machinery with electrical specialization.
• Extensive expertise in Fanuc CNC systems and electrical control schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals proficiently.
• Experience with machine installations is advantageous.
• Strong problem identification and resolution capabilities.
• Capable of working both independently and within a team environment.
• Keen attention to detail with a proactive approach to workplace safety.
