Maintenance Manager

Overview

Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC) is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Manager to spearhead maintenance strategy and execution at its Accra bottling facility. The primary objective is to enhance equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and uphold maintenance excellence while supporting production and business objectives.

Key Duties

• Lead and manage all plant maintenance operations including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Define and track maintenance KPIs to boost equipment uptime, performance, and dependability.
• Handle maintenance planning, control spare parts inventory, oversee vendor relationships, budgeting, and resource management.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with Coca-Cola engineering standards, safety, quality, and environmental policies.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams daily to swiftly address technical and operational challenges.
• Create and deploy innovative technical solutions to enhance production efficiency and minimize operational expenses.
• Promote a strong safety and quality culture within the maintenance team and enforce strict adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering. Professional certifications in maintenance or reliability are advantageous.
• Extensive experience ranging from 10 to 15 years in the beverage or food manufacturing sector, including over 6 years in a senior Maintenance Manager role.
• Demonstrated expertise in establishing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, proficient in CMMS and related maintenance management tools.
• Robust understanding of industrial equipment and utilities like electrical systems, refrigeration, and compressors, along with knowledge of FMCG safety and quality standards.
