This opportunity is for a partner company hiring a Germany-based M&A IT Project Manager. The position is fully remote and centered on leading technology integration work that supports merger and acquisition activity.

You will take ownership of end-to-end IT integration efforts, bringing together several workstreams and keeping delivery aligned with key business milestones. The role calls for a blend of project leadership, technical understanding, and strong coordination with a wide range of stakeholders.

In this delivery-focused role, you will help resolve issues, manage risks, and support smooth transitions between technology environments. You will operate in a global remote setting and contribute to high-impact transformation initiatives that demand strong organization and communication.

Key accountabilities

Drive full-cycle execution of phased IT integration programs connected to mergers and acquisitions.
Turn business goals and technical requirements into clear delivery plans, schedules, and execution steps.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering several parallel workstreams and stakeholder groups.
Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users across the full integration journey.
Identify dependencies, remove obstacles, and keep momentum toward major milestones.
Keep RAID logs current and monitor risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies across all workstreams.
Escalate concerns when needed and apply practical fixes to protect timelines.
Share regular status updates, reports, and progress insights with leadership and project stakeholders.
Support stakeholder alignment and help enable timely decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Make sure delivery complies with internal governance, regulatory expectations, and applicable compliance standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
At least 8 years of experience in IT project management, including M&A integration work or large technology programs.
Proven ability to lead multiple workstreams at once while managing complex dependencies.
Good knowledge of infrastructure, cloud platforms, collaboration tools, and end-user computing setups.
Track record of delivering phased, multi-entity integrations or other similarly complex technology programs.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across technical, business, and end-user groups.
Solid project governance capability, including planning, tracking, reporting, and RAID management.
Hands-on use of project tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Planner, or comparable platforms.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present clearly to executives and cross-functional audiences.
Capability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver in fast-moving environments.
Experience supporting regulated or time-sensitive technology initiatives is advantageous.
Familiarity with Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations, identity management, email migration, and collaboration platform transitions is highly preferred.
