Position Overview
The Logistics Manager will lead and streamline logistics and supply chain functions, ensuring efficient movement of goods, optimizing operations, and reducing costs. This crucial role involves collaboration across operations, procurement, vendors, and internal teams to achieve timely deliveries, maintain effective inventory control, and manage transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure cost-effective and timely logistics operations.
- Monitor operations actively and address supply chain interruptions promptly.
- Manage relationships with vendors, logistics partners, and transportation providers, including performance evaluation and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate inventory levels and replenishment in line with demand planning and distribution schedules.
- Track KPIs related to logistics performance, costs, and delivery standards, identifying bottlenecks and driving process enhancements.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, finance, operations, and customer-facing teams to support organizational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
