Logistics Coordinator

Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Logistics Coordinator to handle and supervise daily logistics activities at our Musaffah, Abu Dhabi office. This role involves managing shipment coordination and delivery timeliness while maintaining effective communication with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

Key Duties

• Manage and oversee supply chain operations efficiently
• Arrange and monitor transportation for local and international shipments
• Communicate regularly with freight forwarders, suppliers, and clients
• Prepare and handle essential shipping documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Ensure adherence to customs rules and company regulations
• Keep accurate inventory records and coordinate logistics with warehouse personnel
• Detect and address any shipment delays or logistical complications
• Enhance logistics procedures aiming to minimize costs and boost efficiency

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
• Brings 2 to 5 years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience, preferably within the UAE or GCC region
• Solid understanding of shipping, freight forwarding, and customs formalities
• Hands-on experience with ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Strong communication, coordination capabilities, and ability to handle work pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in oil and gas, EPC, or industrial project environments
• Familiarity with UAE customs and import/export legislation
