Role Overview

The Logistics Administrator supports the logistics team by providing essential administrative and coordination assistance to the Logistics Manager and Lead. This position is critical in managing freight coordination, ensuring customs compliance, maintaining data accuracy, and driving process improvements to optimize the flow of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate freight bookings with approved logistics providers and oversee shipment schedules.
  • Maintain accurate logistics records and execute relevant system transactions per company policies.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Production, Planning, and Quality departments to align shipment requirements.
  • Prepare and review shipping and export documentation ensuring compliance with internal and customer specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with UCC, customs regulations, and international trade legislation, working closely with brokers and logistics partners.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related disciplines, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Between 2 to 4 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain administration, or similar roles.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or regulated sectors is preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience in shipping documentation, customs, and trade compliance is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with HS code classification, customs protocols, and international trade regulations is desirable.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems or comparable software for logistics management.
