Key Responsibilities

• Support the Logistics Manager and asset teams in detailed planning of construction logistics.
• Manage coordination of transportation, delivery, loading, and unloading of materials and equipment on-site.
• Oversee traffic management within sites, including planning routes for disposal of excavated materials.
• Arrange workforce transportation schedules and bus routes between accommodations and project locations.
• Coordinate material handling activities and manage designated parking zones.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth site operations.
• Ensure proper storage, stacking, and material handling practices at construction sites and yards.
• Arrange for provision and upkeep of portable toilets and sewage removal services on site.
• Monitor supply and maintenance of potable and construction water across projects.
• Supervise temporary power arrangements, electrical distribution boards, and power supply on sites.
• Maintain site welfare facilities, ensuring they are fully operational and properly serviced.
• Track attendance and timesheets of site watchmen and maintain surveillance standards.
• Maintain facilities at site offices for project staff efficiency.
• Quickly accommodate last-minute changes and urgent logistics demands effectively.
• Enforce all logistics tasks comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and site safety protocols.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years' experience in logistics, ideally 8 to 15 years within construction or civil engineering projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction logistics, materials handling, transportation, and site coordination.
• Experienced in coordinating workforce transport, traffic management, and material movement at construction sites.
• Familiar with construction materials storage, equipment handling, and resource allocation principles.
• Practical experience with Goods Receipt Note (GRN) procedures and ERP/logistics software systems such as Xpedion or equivalents.
• Solid understanding of HSE compliance related to construction site logistics and operational safety.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments, contractors, and multiple project sites.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages such as Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic are advantageous.
• Possession of a valid UAE Driving License is preferred or required as per company guidelines.
• Preference for candidates currently residing in UAE or wider GCC.
