Role overview
This is a fully remote contract opportunity for a junior podcast editor working with a team that creates mental health and parenting-focused content. The role is centered on turning raw podcast material into polished audio-visual episodes, cutting short-form clips for social channels, and preparing graphics that support a planned content calendar.
The work is intended to help spread educational content, reduce stigma around mental health, and encourage audience interaction through thoughtful multimedia storytelling.
What you will do
- Produce and edit 2 to 4 video podcasts each month, making sure the final output is strong in both sound and visuals.
- Create concise, attention-grabbing video snippets adapted for different social media platforms.
- Design graphic materials and other visual assets for scheduled content releases.
- Organize and publish content across social channels to improve visibility and engagement.
- Work with the team to generate and implement fresh content ideas connected to mental health and parenting.
Skills and experience needed
- Hands-on experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience producing content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Ability to create graphics using tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
- Strong planning skills for managing a content calendar.
- Awareness of mental health topics and the sensitivity required when working with them.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Capacity to consistently meet monthly deliverables.
