About the Role
Our client is seeking a Junior PMO/Data Analyst to join their IT Project Management Office, providing support across a portfolio of technology initiatives. This opportunity suits individuals early in their analyst career who possess a keen eye for details and a strong interest in data, reporting, and project delivery activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure the integrity of project data within the portfolio management system.
- Generate regular reports concerning the portfolio and individual projects for the PMO and senior leadership.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project data to confirm its accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Assist in invoice reconciliation processes and keep track of project financials.
- Support project governance efforts by providing precise reporting and maintaining documentation.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to identify and resolve inconsistencies in data, enhancing the quality of reporting.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at continuously improving PMO reporting and data management procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Between two and three years of experience in roles such as Data Analyst, PMO Analyst, Project Support, or other similar analytical positions.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with a strong commitment to data accuracy.
- Proficiency at intermediate to advanced levels in Excel and confidence in handling extensive datasets.
- Ability to prepare reports and analyze project-related information effectively.
- Familiarity with project environments or understanding of the project lifecycle is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills that allow managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative working style.
