Del Monte (Germany) is currently inviting applications for the role of Junior Key Account Manager within its Sales Department in Hamburg, Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and proactive interactions with designated customers across Germany to meet agreed objectives and improve order intake.
• Manage daily customer orders efficiently by accurately entering them into the ERP system.
• Promptly handle and resolve any customer claims or product returns with professionalism.
• Negotiate profitability-focused terms and agreements with both existing and new customers.
• Keep precise records of all sales activities and customer communications. Update and maintain sales data in internal documents such as Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Coordinate closely with ports and logistics partners to guarantee on-time and efficient product deliveries.
• Continuously assess client needs to customize solutions accordingly.
• Perform daily and weekly stock monitoring involving all relevant supply chain service providers.
• Develop and implement an annual visitation schedule for current and potential customers, documenting all visits thoroughly in shared files.
• Additional tasks may be assigned beyond this list to support department goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience working as a sales representative in the fruit sector of a fruit/vegetable production or distribution company.
• Outstanding communication abilities, fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
• Proficient with ERP software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Well-versed in marketing strategies and negotiation techniques.
• Quick learner with a strong enthusiasm for sales.
• Self-driven and results-oriented mindset.
