Job Details

• Position available: Full-time and part-time janitor roles
• Shifts: Evening schedules
• Compensation: $14 per hour
• Payment cycle: Weekly

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of floor surfaces using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming techniques
• Adhere to safety procedures when using chemical cleaners and equipment to avoid damage to flooring and other surfaces
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entryways
• Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal, including use of compactors when applicable
• Clean windows, glass panels, and mirrors using proper materials and tools
• Spot clean carpets and assist with deeper carpet cleaning tasks like extraction and shampooing
• Restock paper goods and sanitary supplies regularly
• Follow established cleaning schedules to ensure consistent housekeeping standards
• Operate heavy cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffer machines on occasion
• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned to meet client needs

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial work experience
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to understand and follow instructions correctly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial work
• Knowledge of custodial best practices and commercial cleaning requirements
• Skills in floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing
• Background in industrial cleaning or facility maintenance
