Role overview

This position is based in Doha at The Pearl Island and is a full-time, non-management information technology role within St. Regis Hotels & Resorts.

What you will do

You will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing computer networks, workstations, servers, supporting hardware and software, user accounts, and computer/telephone rooms.

The role includes training users on the correct and secure use of company systems, resolving hardware, software, LAN, WAN, and internet issues, responding to application error messages, and providing communications support and technical guidance.

You will also coordinate with vendors or technicians on major incidents, review and suggest process improvements, support IT equipment installations, relocations, additions, changes, and upgrades, and help plan and implement network security controls.

Additional duties include supporting end users across all applications, managing network-wide disk space, keeping an accurate inventory of technology assets, entering commands and operating equipment as needed, and ensuring backup media is stored securely in a fireproof safe.
