IT Audit Consultant

About the Role

Join an audit consulting team as an IT Audit Consultant supporting assurance work for a multinational audit firm. The position is based in Ahmedabad and focuses on evaluating control environments, documenting findings, and contributing to high-quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out design and operating effectiveness testing for business process controls, application controls, IT general controls, and report testing.
• Prepare, maintain, and review audit documentation while keeping quality standards, budget targets, and deadlines in mind.
• Work independently across multiple engagements and coordinate with multiple assistant managers and managers.
• Assess control areas such as segregation of duties, access controls, ERP-based controls, and audit trails in line with MCA requirements.
• Spot issues, evaluate their impact at the financial statement assertion level, and suggest practical remediation steps.
• Identify compensating controls and perform additional procedures where needed to support conclusions.

Work Scope

The role combines IT audit and control testing responsibilities, with exposure to statutory audit-related processes and reporting requirements.
