About the Role
We are looking for a detail-focused and devoted Human Resources Generalist specializing in People Operations and Talent. This opportunity allows HR professionals to expand their skills beyond talent acquisition into comprehensive HR operations, including compliance, employee experience, and strategic initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership and collaborating with multiple teams, the position manages the entire employee lifecycle emphasizing operational aspects such as process improvement, onboarding, benefits management, and employee support to deliver a superior work experience. The role is based in Dallas, TX, involving onsite presence and offers professional advancement in a stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-volume recruiting initiatives, particularly sourcing candidates for contact center and quarterly new hire groups of 10-15 inside sales agents.
- Work closely with hiring managers to fulfill operational vacancies using both internal and external recruitment methods.
- Leverage diversified job boards and platforms to source and maintain a qualified candidate database.
- Conduct preliminary phone interviews, evaluate candidate responses, and form talent slates aligned with role requirements.
- Organize and execute virtual hiring events when necessary.
- Ensure full compliance with EEO, OFCCP, and employment regulations across multiple states.
- Administer onboarding activities from job offer to active employment status, including references, background checks, and assessments.
- Facilitate effective new hire orientation and smooth assimilation.
- Manage daily HR administrative functions such as benefits queries, data management, I-9 verification, and unemployment claims processing.
- Develop and disseminate internal communications including company updates, initiatives, and events.
- Support employee relations, maintain documentation, and handle offboarding procedures.
- Review employee satisfaction survey data and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in human resources or related fields.
- Preferred candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar discipline; minimum qualification is a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong skills in making high-volume outbound calls.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of employment laws, compliance mandates, and best HR practices.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
