Role Overview
The organisation is seeking a proactive and well-organised HR Generalist to support a wide range of human resources tasks and daily office operations. This position is suited to someone who likes working with people and is comfortable managing both administrative and operational responsibilities. The role also contributes to employee engagement, worker administration, training coordination, and workplace support.
Responsibilities
- Manage staff onboarding and exit processes.
- Administer employee and worker expense claims in line with company rules and procedures.
- Keep employee information current and accurate in HR records.
- Oversee uniform inventory, distribution, and related documentation.
- Plan and carry out internal engagement efforts and HR documentation tasks.
- Support employee engagement programmes, surveys, and feedback activities.
- Assist with culture-building initiatives, employee value proposition activities, and overall employee experience efforts.
- Coordinate company events, employee activities, and internal recognition schemes, including SPACElogic Awards.
- Handle Work Permit applications, renewals, and terminations for foreign workers.
- Prepare renewal paperwork such as forms, employment contracts, and other administrative documents.
- Arrange medical examinations, security bond purchase, and follow-ups for Work Permit renewals.
- Track workers' medical certificate submissions and maintain related records.
- Prepare and submit overtime reports.
- Maintain complete records for worker documentation and compliance-related matters.
- Keep training cards, certificates, and filing systems up to date.
- Coordinate new training enrolments and monitor worker training requirements.
- Support post-training evaluations for internal and external learning programmes.
- Research and help coordinate learning and development initiatives across teams.
- Provide basic day-to-day IT support such as account setup, password resets, printer issues, CCTV support, and access card matters.
- Assist with Active Directory, access card, and network-related administration when needed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing letters, invoices, and general office documentation.
- Arrange vehicle servicing appointments and follow up on related matters.
- Support office administration and daily operational coordination.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Between 1 and 2 years of relevant experience in HR generalist or HR operations roles.
- Experience with Work Permit processing, worker administration, or training coordination would be beneficial.
- Basic IT support exposure, or a willingness to handle simple IT administration tasks, is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, MOM requirements, and HR practices.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to take initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- An interest in the interior, exhibition, design, or construction sector is an added advantage.
