Role overview
This role focuses on managing HR operations for the US employee and contractor journey end to end. The position calls for someone who can build strong people processes, support management decisions, and ensure compliance across HR functions while working remotely in a PST schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of employees and contractors, from onboarding through separation.
- Create, roll out, and refine HR policies and programs that support a positive workplace culture.
- Work with senior leadership to plan employee engagement initiatives and strengthen retention.
- Contribute to performance review systems, learning initiatives, and development planning.
- Set up and manage the HR information system, including ongoing data and process updates.
- Act as the main contact for employment-related matters and ensure HR compliance requirements are met.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and policy breaches in a fair and timely manner.
- Draft and share reports and updates for management as required.
Skill competencies
- 5 to 10 years of experience in HR, with at least the last 5 years specifically in US HR operations.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and generalist functions.
- Working knowledge of US employment regulations and statutory requirements.
- Ability to communicate clearly and build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with performance management and employee engagement practices.
- Hands-on capability to support HR systems and process improvements.
Work schedule
The shift is aligned to PST hours, which corresponds to 8:30 PM to 6:00 AM IST.
