Role Overview
The HR Business Partner for Oceania will be instrumental in steering and executing comprehensive HR functions across the region. This dynamic role entails hands-on involvement in compensation and benefits, recruitment, performance management, payroll, and employee relations. As a trusted consultant, you will work closely with regional management and the broader APAC HR team to influence people strategies, improve employee experience, and support business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Oceania business leaders delivering strategic and operational HR counsel and support across organizational levels.
- Drive core HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and managing employee relations.
- Administer compensation and benefits activities including salary adjustments, bonus distribution, and ensuring internal pay equity.
- Coordinate payroll processes alongside local and APAC teams, ensuring full compliance with legal regulations.
- Develop and uphold HR policies that reflect company values and meet local legislative requirements.
- Advocate for employees by promoting engagement, fostering positive relationships, and nurturing a culture focused on high performance.
- Support initiatives in organizational development, such as learning programs and change management efforts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of substantial experience in HR, preferably as a generalist or business partner.
- Experience within manufacturing or industrial sectors is favored.
- Proficient in collaboration and communication, skilled in establishing trusted relationships organization-wide.
- Demonstrates high integrity, accountability, and discretion handling confidential information.
- Organized, detail-focused, adept at prioritizing tasks to achieve results in changing landscapes.
