Job Overview

Oceanature LLP is seeking dedicated Housekeeping Staff to maintain the cleanliness and presentation standards of guest rooms and public areas at their Mumbai location. This role involves performing essential cleaning and maintenance duties, ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service, and supporting the housekeeping team in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Replenish guest amenities such as towels, toiletries, and minibar supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in common spaces like lobbies, corridors, elevators, and restrooms through regular cleaning and disinfecting.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or items with courteous assistance.
• Manage linen and laundry by collecting used items, restocking clean supplies, and reporting damage or losses to supervisors.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance issues or damages and notify the maintenance team accordingly.
• Adhere to hotel safety policies, handling cleaning chemicals and equipment properly to ensure a safe environment.
• Collaborate effectively with other housekeeping staff, assist with training new employees, and participate in team meetings to foster a positive work culture.
• Report any guest complaints promptly to supervisors for resolution.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks meet the hotel’s standards and complete necessary checklists accurately.

Additional Information

This position requires close supervision under a manager who provides clear instructions and guidelines. Staff do not make independent decisions but are expected to meet defined goals while working within established protocols. Management retains the right to adjust job duties as necessary to meet organizational needs.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges from 10,000 to 11,000 INR.
