Housekeeper

Role Overview

This full-time housekeeping role supports a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment across patient care spaces, offices, and other assigned areas. The position focuses on routine cleaning, disinfection, waste handling, and delivering dependable service to both internal teams and external customers.

Schedule and Employment Details

This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week and benefits. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key Duties

• Carry out general cleaning and disinfection work in patient areas, support spaces, and offices as assigned.
• Help maintain a sanitary and aseptic environment through proper housekeeping practices.
• Dispose of waste in line with local, state, and federal rules.
• Identify and report facility concerns such as burnt-out lighting, damaged walls, leaking faucets, or problems with EVS equipment.
• Escalate any regulatory or safety concerns to the appropriate manager.
• Keep carts, closets, and equipment clean, organized, and safe to use, with supplies stocked at appropriate levels.
• Follow annual training requirements and attend ongoing training to stay current on department policies and procedures.
• Join team meetings, working groups, and committees when needed to support process improvements.
• Use Epic Rovers and Vocera tools to support communication and help complete assigned tasks on time.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members in assigned areas.

Experience and Education

No prior experience is required. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
