Role Overview

The Hostess will serve as a welcoming presence for guests, managing reservations and seating arrangements to ensure seamless service flow within the restaurant or lounge. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, escorting them to tables, managing waitlists, responding to both phone and in-person inquiries, and conveying details about menu items and specials.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests with warmth and professionalism
• Effectively manage reservations and seating plans to maximize service efficiency
• Maintain accurate waitlists and provide timely updates to guests
• Respond to telephone and face-to-face queries regarding available services and menus
• Coordinate closely with service and kitchen teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences
• Handle guest feedback in a courteous and professional manner
• Maintain high standards aligned with Raffles Dubai's luxury hospitality brand

Requirements and Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on outstanding customer service
• Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette
• Experience managing reservations and seating, familiarity with reservation or POS systems preferred
• Professional and polished appearance appropriate for luxury hospitality
• Previous experience in hotel, restaurant, or luxury front-of-house roles is advantageous
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and ability to stand for prolonged durations
• Fluent English language skills; additional languages are beneficial
