Role Overview

We are seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join our team at Iceland Foods in Yeovil, England. This position involves delivering grocery orders while ensuring excellent customer service and efficient time management. Our company values the contribution of people who remain active, independent, and sociable on the job. You will be the face of Iceland in direct customer interactions during deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe loading practices including heavy lifting and manual handling during van loading.
• Follow safe driving rules at all times on the road.
• Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure the van is in good condition.
• Ensure food items are delivered in optimal condition to customers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service during all interactions.
• Assist with in-store duties when necessary.
• Work independently, manage your schedule effectively, and demonstrate flexibility in shift patterns between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Must possess a full driving licence held for a minimum of three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Friendly, positive attitude and high commitment to excellent customer service.
• Reliability in punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong commitment to road safety awareness.
