About the Role
U-Haul is looking for a dedicated and skilled Hitch Service Technician to join our team in Yakima, WA. This position involves working with your hands to install and service towing packages on customer vehicles at our Moving and Storage Center lots, delivering excellent customer support backed by technical expertise.

Primary Responsibilities
- Learn and explain the variety of towing packages U-Haul offers
- Recommend and install appropriate tow packages on customer vehicles
- Deliver outstanding customer service and support
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
- Engage in continuous learning through U-Haul University courses
Requirements and Environment
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Basic skills in wiring and using hand and power tools
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Work involves moderate hazard exposure—requiring safety precautions such as protective apparel and equipment
- Physical demands include long periods indoors and outdoors, frequent repositioning, tool handling, and moving weights of at least 50 pounds with or without assistance
