Within Grab's Mobility division, GrabRentals is key to ensuring reliable vehicle and driver-partner supply, maintaining liquidity for ride-hailing and delivery markets. This role leads the design and scaling of platform supply operations.

Role Overview

The Head of Platform & Autonomous Fleet Operations will establish and grow the operational setup, including organizational structure, processes, and culture, to manage fleet supply safely and efficiently at scale. This leadership position involves building and guiding teams across Supply Quality & Compliance, Real-Time Marketplace Operations, and Field/Partner Support, creating operational frameworks, and spearheading new market and supply initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop organizational structures, SOPs, and comprehensive playbooks governing the entire platform supply lifecycle from autonomous vehicle partner management to vehicle availability.
• Accountable for P&L management and resource allocation encompassing workforce planning, facilities, and supply logistics.
• Drive strategic growth including planning fleet expansions and initiating new operational design domains under regulatory considerations.
• Engage with executive-level stakeholders and AV ecosystem partners to align business objectives and collaboration efforts.
• Manage marketplace supply lifecycle to maximize availability, vehicle utilization, and operational performance.
• Implement rigorous quality assurance and compliance frameworks ensuring operational readiness.
• Oversee a 24/7 command center managing real-time supply-demand balancing and dispatch optimization.
• Establish a crisis response system for incidents affecting platform safety, coordinating multiple departments such as legal, Trust & Safety, and public relations.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12+ years of leadership experience in operations, including a minimum of 4 years in internet marketplaces, platform economies, ride-hailing, logistics, or fast-paced tech operations.
• Proven success in building teams and operational systems from the ground up, such as launching new markets or operational hubs.
• Experience managing large, distributed teams of over 30 members, including shift-based or localized operational workforces.
• Ability to remain composed and make decisive actions during live operational incidents or demand fluctuations.
• Background involving Trust & Safety, regulatory compliance, or integrity within technology or transportation sectors.
