Global Mobility & Immigration Specialist – Middle East, EMEA & APAC

Overview

Nutanix's Global Mobility & Immigration (GMI) team is searching for a knowledgeable Global Mobility & Immigration Specialist to lead immigration, relocation, and mobility efforts primarily within the Middle East, and provide support across EMEA and APAC regions. Positioned in the United Arab Emirates, this role acts as a regional expert and strategic partner collaborating closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, Legal, employees, and external providers to ensure compliant, efficient, and employee-centered mobility solutions aligned with business and talent objectives. Reporting to the Senior Global Mobility & Immigration Manager, this opportunity is vital to enable global talent mobility and company expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for mobility and immigration efforts in the Middle East while supporting activities across EMEA and APAC.
• Consult HR, Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, and employees on immigration, relocation, and mobility policies and procedures.
• Evaluate immigration sponsorship and mobility options for new hires and internal transfers, working alongside external legal advisors.
• Offer expert guidance on visa, work authorization, residency, and employment compliance matters.
• Support employees throughout every phase of their mobility journey to ensure a positive experience.
• Administer mobility and immigration programs consistent with company standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Maintain meticulous immigration and employee records within HR management systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to secure adherence to immigration, employment, payroll, tax, and regulatory rules.
• Assist with audits, reporting, policy management, and compliance monitoring activities.
• Engage closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, business leaders, and external service providers to meet workforce mobility requirements.
• Oversee service provider coordination, case progression, escalation management, and resolution of complex mobility concerns.
• Deliver outstanding service to employees, managers, and stakeholders throughout mobility workflows.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process and program enhancements to optimize service delivery and compliance.
• Contribute to policy updates, program advancements, and related projects, analyzing trends and metrics to improve outcomes.
• Support ongoing management and continuous improvement initiatives of Nutanix’s global mobility and immigration programs.

Candidate Profile

• A seasoned and results-driven professional with over 7 years of accumulated experience managing global mobility, immigration, and relocation programs, with strong expertise focused on the Middle East and working knowledge across EMEA and APAC.
• Proficient understanding of immigration, cross-border employment compliance, and relocation regulations, demonstrated through handling multifaceted mobility cases.
• Proven track record in advising and collaborating with cross-functional teams in multinational settings and managing external vendor relationships.
• Highly adaptable with effective execution skills, adept at juggling multiple priorities and resolving complex issues in fast-changing and deadline-driven environments.
• Exceptional analytical thinking, organization, and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Work Arrangement

This position requires on-site presence at the Dubai office to enable direct collaboration and immediate access to organizational support, fostering enhanced teamwork within a dynamic operational setting. Further guidance and team-specific protocols will be provided by the reporting manager.
