General Manager - Manufacturing Company

Overview

We are looking to recruit a seasoned and results-driven General Manager to oversee manufacturing operations in Saudi Arabia. This role demands leadership in promoting business expansion, optimizing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining exceptional quality, safety, and productivity standards. The ideal candidate will blend strategic vision with hands-on management of everyday activities.

Key Duties

• Formulate and implement strategic business and operational plans.
• Direct manufacturing operations to meet targets related to production volume, quality, safety, and financial performance.
• Lead initiatives for continuous process improvements aimed at boosting productivity and lowering expenses.
• Manage budgeting, cost controls, and overall profitability.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to enhance processes.
• Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks, legal regulations, and health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Build and nurture high-performing teams by cultivating accountability, teamwork, and ongoing development.
• Track key performance indicators and implement necessary corrective strategies.
• Develop and sustain strong partnerships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Drive business development activities to increase market share and discover new opportunities.
• Collaborate effectively with departments such as Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and HR.
• Oversee inventory management, production scheduling, and supply chain efficiency.
• Provide regular operation and financial reports to senior management and shareholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields such as Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 10 to 15 years of advancing leadership roles within manufacturing.
• Proven history as General Manager, Plant Manager, Operations or Manufacturing Director.
• Experience managing industrial or manufacturing operations, including profit and loss responsibilities.
• Well-versed in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
