Position Overview

The Front End Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Regional Process Support Group by overseeing installations, audits, troubleshooting, best practice implementation, innovation, cost savings, and maintenance for Front End process equipment at facilities across BPEMEA and Asia. The primary expertise lies in Body Makers, with responsibilities also encompassing Trimmers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for projects and overhauls as needed.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports following site visits to management.
• Conduct maintenance tasks, audits, setups, and problem-solving for Bodymaker and Trimmer equipment.
• Deliver training to plant and central employees across various levels.
• Leverage expertise to support capital investment requests.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers and OEMs.
• Develop and maintain practical Standard Operating Procedures to ensure effective equipment operation.
• Promote skill development across plants.
• Monitor and follow up on recommended corrective actions.
• Maintain positive working relationships with plants and suppliers.
• Create and offer technical training for new and current plants.
• Be available on short notice for emergency breakdown situations.

Candidate Profile

• Holds ONC or Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Has 3 to 5 years of direct engineering experience with various Body Makers.
• Experienced in managing small projects or teams.
• Deep technical understanding of Front End operations in a 2-piece can plant.
• Self-driven and capable of self-management.
• Proactive and motivated to work independently.
• Willing and able to travel on short notice and work weekends when necessary.
• Possesses a valid driving license.
• Effective team player with strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Work Environment and Conditions

This role is primarily remote but requires approximately 80% travel. Candidates must be flexible with travel and work schedules.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting gross monthly salary is from 66,400 EUR, with the final amount depending on education, experience, skills, and market factors. This role is eligible to participate in the company's annual incentive compensation program. Additional benefits include severance pay or pension schemes, access to a company doctor, meal allowances, a bike leasing program, service anniversary bonuses, and an employee assistance program.
