Role Overview

This Front End Developer role is based in the Augusta, GA office, requiring at least two in-office days weekly. The position focuses on developing scalable, intuitive, and high-performing web applications that enhance the digital experience for TaxSlayer customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain front-end applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SCSS.
• Work closely with Software Architects, UI/UX designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user interfaces.
• Provide mentorship to fellow React engineers and encourage continuous learning and improvement.
• Engage in agile development practices including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform code reviews and manage version control through Git.
• Innovate and propose creative technical solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering production-ready applications using React.
• Proficient with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS.
• Experienced working within an agile software development environment.
• Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows.
• Strong communication abilities and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to writing clean code and building excellent user experiences.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Knowledge of C#, VB.NET, MVC framework, and SQL databases.
• Experience with Optimizely for A/B testing.
• Exposure to WordPress website development.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is required.
