About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join their team. This role offers an excellent chance for a finance professional with analytical expertise to impact business performance significantly. The position is hybrid and based in Gahanna, OH.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update financial models that aid budgeting, forecasting, and business strategy planning.
• Interpret financial and operational metrics to highlight trends, risks, and growth possibilities.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analyses contrasting actual results with budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in preparing management reports and presentations for executive stakeholders.
• Collaborate with department heads by collecting data and providing financial insights for informed decision-making.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting and long-term financial planning efforts.
• Identify ways to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
• Provide support for special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years' experience in financial analysis.
• Proficient with Excel, especially in financial modeling and analyzing data.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with great attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective presentation of findings.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently in a hybrid work setting.
